Skaler: There Are Such Things Skaler Portrait In his illustrations of Skaler, Glenn has always been inspired by several things: Classic Rock Photography, the Pre-Raphaelite, the New Romantic Pop Stars and the Romantic Poets. Skaler and Mariah had to look like New Romantic Pop Stars, but who have been dressing like that since the days of Lord Byron. After all, Skaler pinched his coat from Beau Brummell. Skaler has been a musician for 800 years, and for this portrait Glenn was inspired by a portrait of a young John Lennon in Hamburg, leaning in a doorway. Only Skaler, with a shadow of that same mysterious Mona Lisa smile, is leaning relaxed in the doorway of a crypt with a Raven on his shoulder. Purchase this Print |
