Skills on Show 2005 Worcestershire County Council, County Hall, July 9th - 10th 2005 At this event, Glenn had his head well and truly down over a series of drawings for Anne Bradford, having been commissioned to illustrate her book, Ghosts, Murders and Scandals of Worcestershire. There were a series of 15 illustrations for the book, which was published on Halloween that year, and it proved to be the first commission he completed after having gotten married. We had been gleefully placed next to Steve Chambers, the Film special effects genius based in Worcester, so it was even more bizarre than usual. Innocent children wandered towards him, and returned in a variety of stages of zombie hood, or sporting horrific prosthetic injuries. |
