Lord Id: SkyFather Creation Myth of the Born with the Great Lord Id carrying the world through space Lord Id: SkyFather forms a vital contribution to the Skaler Mythology, as it depicts a scene directly related to the creation myths of the civilisation of all Born Vampires in Skaler's world. The Born believe that their race was created by an immense bat called Lord Id, who was so mesmerised by Lady Luci, (daughter of the Sun and Moon), that he bit her. This impregnated Luci, and caused her to give birth to the first vampire, first werewolf, and then the Undead races. For this, Id was cursed with an uncontrollable thirst for blood, and grew to an Olympian size. The Goddess Eternity set the world in his mouth, which he is condemned to carry every day towards the sun. This is how Id is shown in Glenn's drawing, and crowned by the Citadel of Pelgalion, the Born vampires' Valhalla. Purchase this Print |
