Jasper Thames QC Study of a Victorian Werewolf (at work in the day job) I started out working in the legal arena as a Short-Hand Writer, because I wanted to research a character for my Skaler novel; Jasper Thames the Victorian barrister, who is also a 180 year old werewolf. A couple of weeks painful observation of barrister's robes and wigs was necessary in order to get it right, and his face and character have been influenced by about four different advocates. The court itself is Court One at Worcester Crown, whose graceful gallery fell down and killed two jurors after being struck by lightening in the 1700's. Purchase this Print |
