Edwardian Gentleman Illustration for Ghosts, Murders and Scandals by Anne Bradford Of the collected stories assembled for the book, this personal account of a haunting is certainly the most threatening and sinister. The author speaks of dreams about a man in Edwardian evening dress in the garden at night. He radiates evil, is seen to gradually approach the house, and beckons her to open the window. The dream eventually becomes nightly. She is terrified, and suffering horribly deteriorating health, she actually moved out of the property. Exactly the same thing then happened to her sister, who moved in afterwards. Glenn opted for a subtly threatening approach to this piece. We have some sympathy for the author, as we thereafter experienced our own haunting; see Glenn's story on Newsblaze. Purchase the Book |
