Cold Tea and Biros (1994-1996) Cold Tea and Biros was a writers' forum, which transmitted the work of new writers'. It was wonderful fun, because as someone keen to write myself I really enjoyed putting the programme together. We had submissions from writers' groups and individuals from all over the Midlands, and every week I auditioned Drama students from the College, so not only did budding writers get chance to have their work broadcast, but aspiring actors got some solid experience in radio. It ran for two series' very successfully, and taught me an awful lot about the recording and mixing of radio drama. |
