Art for the Terrified Stourport, February 9th 2005 Invited to address the members of Stef Connolly's art group, Art for the Terrified, I thought, 'Well, they'll be Terrified when they see MY art'. A wonderful warm welcome by an interested and cheerful group based in Stourport, this was the first time I had given a talk on my work, showing the group through the portfolio and giving them a demonstration. Stef really made us feel at home and proved a perfect host, whilst helping with whatever was required. A hugely enjoyable evening, slickly organised by a well ran and professional art group, it couldn't have been a more pleasant first opportunity to speak to an audience. |
